Multi-Channel Provider of Faith & Family TV Honored in Television Network Category

(Naples, Fla. – July 28 ,2010) – Sky Angel, a national provider of 80+ channels of faith-based and familyfriendly television and radio programming (www.skyangel.com), is pleased to announce their nomination for this year’s Inspirational Country Music Award in the Television Network category.


The 16th Annual Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Awards Show, co-hosted by Megan Alexander of Inside Edition, is scheduled for October 14, 2010 at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium in Hendersonville, TN. ICM Week is a yearly event that draws music fans, broadcast media (radio, print, and TV) and the industries top artists to Nashville to showcase music and to discuss industry related issues. The member-voted ICM Awards Show is the keynote event of ICM Week. The convention and award show are presented by the Christian Country Music Association, founded in 1992 in conjunction with Power Source Music.

The Men’s Ministry channel brings together some of the most challenging and inspiring video content sermons, conferences, bible studies, tools to use at work, and movies that guys love. Sky Angel subscribers will find the content by choosing Video On Demand, selecting the Grow category then choosing Men’s Ministry and On Target Ministries.

On Target Ministries is a Christian outreach to men, pastors, and couples led by Vince D’Acchioli. On Target will be launching their 1 year curriculum series called Men on Target, as well as volume one of “Essentials of the Journey,” on Sky Angel’s On Demand section of the television service.

Sky Angel’s production division receives One Silver and Two Bronze Awards


(Naples, Fla. – July 7, 2010) – Sky Angel Productions, a full service video production company based in Naples, Fla., has been honored with three Telly awards from this year’s competition; one Silver and two Bronze. The 31st Annual Telly Award competition received 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. They honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. A Silver Telly Award in the Non-Profit category was received for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Fundraising Videos entitled Coaches, Camps and Community, produced in conjunction with EJC Productions. The videos raised awareness of the organization’s needs during its annual fundraising banquet, sharing the stories of coaches and kids to show how FCA impacts lives in lasting ways for Jesus Christ.


A Bronze Telly in the Children’s Broadcast category was received for Babies Love Water!, the second title in the Halo Baby series created just for babies and toddlers. The series incorporates simple Biblical elements into every video. Babies Love Water! features original music by composer Paul Todd. This is the second Telly Award for the Halo Baby series, which is available for purchase and can be seen on KTV (Kids and Teen Television).


Another Bronze Telly was received for a Food for Orphans commercial in the Fundraising / Appeals category. With 143 million orphans worldwide and 400,000 dying of malnutrition each year, this spot was created to evoke support for the non-profit organization.
