Dangerous Calling!
By Robert Steffensen August 24th, 2010I just found “Dangerous Calling” in the VOD section under Action/Thriller! I was pleasantly surprised how well done this movie was for a low budget Christian film. It really kept me on the edge of my seat, and was quite entertaining. Evan and his wife Nora have just moved to a small town to take the place of a recently deceased pastor. It turns out the parsonage is under construction, so they move in temporarily with a seemingly kind elderly women who attends their church. Evan and Nora begin to butt heads a bit with some of the older church members over their support of the youth pastor who is trying to reach out to the youth of the community. After a few twists it turns out there is more going on in this congregation than they bargained for. It also did a nice job of addressing the issue of churches being closed off to those who need it the most. “Dangerous calling” is rated PG 13, but other than some scary and suspenseful scenes it is very clean. I would definitely recommend it for teens on up who enjoy action/thrillers!

I agree it was great film. It was not just “Good for a Christian film” Like I often say. It was actually a good thriller. Worth the watch for sure. Cloud Ten is one of the best Christian production companies. Probably in the top three.
