I retired in 2007 after working 25 years at Home Sweet Home, a local rescue mission that was founded in 1917. Its founder, Billy Shelper, had responded to an alter call at a Billy Sunday crusade, then was inspired to start the Home Sweet Home ministry. God used that Billy Sunday sermon to change the directiono f Billy Shelper's life, and the ministry he started has touched many, many lives since.
