Head over to JCTV at 2200 on 11/21/10 and sit back and enjoy two great films giving excellent evidence and entertainment regarding Jesus Christ! Now don’t worry because it Says “Laugh with the Skit Guys”. That is just mislabeling(Which sadly sometimes happens with some of SKyAngel’s service providers.) This will start you off on Lee Strobel’s documentary based on his best selling book “The Case for Christ”. This is a very well made documentary giving much evidence for Jesus Christ. I don’t agree with Lee on everything or even like all his guests theology. However, in this film everything seems very solid. It is part documentary and autobiography. Following directly after TCFC is “The Perfect Stranger”. This actually starts in the TCFC time slot. I have this movie on DVD as well as the sequel. I have enjoyed every “Stranger” film and there are many. This is a film where a skeptic lawyer is invited to dinner with Jesus. She asks many ?’s skeptics ask and the actor playing Jesus seems quite Christlike in his answering. This film is both entertaining and informative. I think you’ll enjoy it. If you want to get some evidence for yourself without breaking out the books this would be a good block of tv to sit back and enjoy. Prayerfully consider sharing these films w/your non believer friends. Share the scripture with them and encourage them to turn from sin to Christ. While we must always trust in God to do the saving these films may be used by Him in concert with your testimnoy and sharing in the Bible to plant and water seeds of the Gospel that He may bring to fruition in His time. God bless and enjoy!

For the last two years, we have had a subscription to Creation Magazine and absolutely love it! The magizine is not endated with advertisements, has many colorful ilustrations, and the articles are simply fascinating! On NRB, I just found “Creation Magazine Live!”  with hosts Richard Fangrad and Calvin Smith. This program shares the same kind of info that is found in the mag, and actual evidence that we can use when witnessing to others. For instance, in the episode that I just recently watched, they gave an example of how all the different races came from Adam and Eve.  They showed a picture of a  family and the parent’s skin was a brown color and one of their twins was also brown, but the other child was white! It’s great to see Creation Mag branching out and reaching an even greater audience!

I just watched a real gem on Sky Angel VOD — The Shadow of the Moon. Â This documentary gives the complete history of the Apollo space program, including crew members for every single Apollo mission which flew to the Moon, and allows them to tell their story in their own words.
I was 10 years old when Apollo 11 landed on the Moon, and Neal Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the Moon, uttered his immortal words: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Â I can still remember it to this day.
It was really exciting to watch the entire history of the Apollo program, because I was too young to remember anything before Apollo 8 - the first one to actually go to the Moon (although it didn’t actually land on the Moon).
I highly recommend Shadow of the Moon.

I watched this movie a while back and enjoyed it. I saw it was again on JCTV and skimmed through it again. It is a good family movie about a family man with a struggling business who meets his absentee eccentric father who is trying to find God through science. He won’t believe in God till he can prove it with science. He is also a hermit who is driven to find God because he’s still heartbroken years after his Christian wife died whom he loved dearly but whose faith he could not share. This man had heard the Gospel but continually rejected it. He seemed like a lost cause. However God never fails to find those sheep He’s searching for. The most biblically correct line in the movie is when the father is talking to the son and talks about trying to find God. The son responds by saying something akin to - “Maybe it’s God who finds us.” God does find His lost sheep. His sheep hear His voice and come to Him. If you hear His voice, call out to Him for mercy and He will give you more. He’ll give you grace! Repent and believe the Gospel! A good movie for people with a science bent. Pretty well produced for a Christian film. The climax scene and it’s visual and soundtrack are stunning. A worthwhile watch. Take care!

Storm Chasers
This all new episode takes the storm chasers through New Mexico and the Texas panhandle. Violent storms turn the dirt roads into muddy quagmires, trapping the chasers in the mud between two tornadoes. They seize the chance to get up close and film the violent twisters and deploy science probes.
My guys love Storm Chasers. It comes on Discovery Channel Sunday at 8pm EST. They are so excited over the new episode that premiers Sunday October 25th.  Reed, who went around in a Ford Explorer with a hand-held cam now drives an awesome vehicle. He and his partner get up close and personal with violent twisters and use awesome science probes. A real adrenaline rush.

In this proclaimed “Year of Darwin” many(12,000+ Churches, YES churches)are celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth and the 150th Anniversary of “Origin of Species” SkyAngel offers an awesome counterpoint to Darwin by sharing this ICR(Institute for Creation Research)film. Dr. Henry Morris founded ICR and is considered by many to be the “Father of the Modern Creation Movement”. Dr. Morris was always a believer in the Bible as literally written and held to a 6 literal day creation and the truth of Noah’s worldwide flood. Sadly he was seeing many young people being led away from faith in God and the Bible by deceptive and wrong evolutionary bent pseudo science. Watch this video to get a side by side comparison with Darwin and Morris as well as an in depth look at the genesis of a new creation movement and the man who started it. If you enjoy Ken Ham, Answers in Genesis, and other creation based ministries you ought to be thankful for Dr. Henry Morris. God bless and enjoy! If you want more information about Dr. Morris and the creation movement please visit ICR on the Web at www.icr.org . They have lots of awesome and FREE resources.

Hi all. I just wanted to drop a note regarding some programs promoting the Bible and scientific accuracy. While Kent Hovind has caught a tough rap from many scientists much of his research is solid and just common sense. You can find his “Creation Series” videos on I believe it is Cornerstone tv. If not check yuor online program guide. Also Todd Friel on my favorite show “Wretched” on Family Net had Ken Hamm on on his Friday show that I just watched tonight. Ken stressed the importance of Christians teaching the truth of Biblical creation to our kids even in Sunday school. Ken’s group AIG even has a creation video in the VOD section you should check out if you really want a good in depth program on creation. It isn’t a side issue. If you can’t trust the Genesis account why trust any of the Bible? It is all God’s Word! Let’s study to show oursleves approved folks we have an obligation and SkyAngel is helping provide us resources! God bless!  ÂÂ
